Description

Fly over Rincon de la Vieja, a stunning combination of volcanic wonders and tropical rain forest. One can only admire this impressive volcano, sometimes known as the “Colossus of Guanacaste” with an estimated height of 6000 feet. Rincón de la Vieja is one of the three active volcanoes in Costa Rica with at least 5 major eruptive centers. The tour route and craters visited may vary according to wind and weather conditions.

We’ll fly close to the craters so have your camera ready for amazing pictures!!

Important Note: The Volcano Adventure Tour is highly subject to weather conditions. Rincon de la Vieja is an active volcano and the conditions in the volcano change hourly. If the weather conditions are not ideal for the tour and the craters are completely covered by clouds, the pilot will take you on a beach tour of our beautiful coast.
