This tours include driving through some beautiful landscapes and quaint villages that immerse you in authentic experience in Costa Rica watching real towns and see how is the Ticos life style also Arenal volcano is now inactive...there is not lava flows for the past several years, but you can enjoy a gorgeous and perfect shape from this amazing volcano.

Description

Please be aware of that detail, specially if the lava flows are the main reasons you will book this trip for. However, the rest of the tour still made it worthwhile visiting the different options we have for this great full day tour (Visibility of the Volcano depends on weather conditions).

Option A: Danaus Private Reserve- Easy hike, no stairs, no up and down hills. You ́ll be guided on a walk observing beautiful birds, strawberry Poison dark frogs and tree frogs, the butterfly garden, medicinal plants....

Option B: Rain Forest hike - medium difficulty hike - stairs. Forest reserve (this is 11 acres of a farmer's field that was converted into a tropical rain forest set up for public education purposes)

Option C: Waterfall La Fortuna — you better be in shape for this hike! This is a 180 feet drop waterfall right at the foot of Arenal Volcano.

Return: Around 4:00 pm, we start driving back. Halfway, we make a stop for having a break to stretch out. You should be back to your hotel by 8:30 pm.

TOUR LEAVES FROM: Main hotels in Playa Hermosa, Panamá and Coco, Gulf of Papagayo, Tamarindo Beach, Conchal, Brasilito and Flamingo.

WHAT TO BRING: Bathing suit, sneakers, towels, changing clothes, rain coat, camera, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, money, a copy of your passport.
